Keyboard tips
Show desktop
press and hold the Windows key and press D, it will take you back to the desktop, you can press it again to get back to the window you were working in.
Open Windows explorer
press and hold the Windows key and then press E (explorer).
Move window to left or right half of the screenpress and hold the Windows key and then press the arrow left key or arrow right key. I’d advise you to experiment with the arrow keys with the windows key pressed.
Change between programs/applications
Hold down the left Alt key and press Tab, keep pressing tab to cycle through the open applications.
Screen Grab
Press Print Screen (or Prnt Scrn) on the keyboard, on a standard keyboard its next to F12. The screen image has now been stored, but to get hold of the stored image you need to go into a program like Paint, Word or Email, then go to the Edit menu, then choose paste (or press CTRL + V). If you want to only grab the current open/working window, then hold Alt while pressing Print Screen.
Delete whole word : press CTRL and BackspaceSelect a whole word : press and hold CTRL and SHIFT the press the left or right cursor key, hold down to select more words.
Select a whole paragraph – this same technique as above when you press up or down on the cursor keys.
Copy (selected text/image etc.) : press and hold CTRL and press C
Cut : press and hold CTRL and press X
Paste : press and hold CTRL and press V
Undo : press and hold CTRL and press Z
